What Can I Say, The People Love Me

So, I was on KRON4 this morning, talking about the Appeal.  I had a really good time, and Henry Tenenbaum and crew were tops.

i had not even left the store where the interview took place when I got a nasty email from someone who saw me on TV.  Folks, back when I was at SFist I got the crazy psycho email, I thought I should just let it go.  But then, as Violet and I got to be closer friends, my mind changed -- I love how she republishes her hate mail on Tiny Nibbles.  So, sorry, Violet, now that I'm not at the Chron and required to be circumspect, I am totally ripping you off.

You couldn't be gracious?! You couldn't be mildly less self loathing (which was embarrassing to watch your attempt of trying (?) to be humble but actually appeared desperate, unappreciative and rude)?  And for the love of G-D could you have taken 5 minutes to comb through your hair, wear clean clothes then pull your hair back so the imprint of the hair elastic you slept in wouldn't have been SO obvious.  Oy vey!

Ha!  I think t's safe to assume that anyone who knows me would wish I were mildly more self loathing.  And, Diane, I did comb my hair, I did wear clean clothes (Gangs of San Francisco represent!), and, well, your email just confuses me.  But thanks for writing, and thanks for the pageview you just gave the Appeal to find my email address.
