Lisa, I take it all back
I stood up for you in SO MANY conversations! I can't tell you the number of times I griped about how a guy with your attitude wouldn't be getting the shit that you got. I even suggested that you got a bad editing rap from Bravo. But no more:
Oh no, I don't read the blogs – you couldn't pay me to read the blogs. I don't want to know what people who can't even afford to eat in my restaurant, let alone know how to cook have to say about me...
I mean, there's no need to respond to people like that. People that blog are strictly just people that blog …
I can't decide what's making me feel grosser right now, that I defended someone who apparently feels that your financial situation determines the validity of your opinion -- and, seriously, do I need to even link to all the bloggers who can MORE THAN afford to eat wherever you work, and are kick ass cooks to boot, but, fuck that, it's a stupid thing for her to say no matter what and I'm not going to dignify this with an argument like "bloggers can so afford to eat out" -- or that I'm actually letting this bother me.
So, Lisa, I take it all back. If this interview was any indication, Bravo did you a favor in how they edited you. And I don't care if I win the fucking lottery tomorrow, I'm never, ever going to eat anywhere that would employ you -- and, my blogger friends, I urge y'all to do the same.
